What's Included & what to bring
Each Bell Tent and Shepherds Hut is supplied with…
Picnic table, parasol, camp chairs, camp stove with gas, Fire pit with grill
Double Bed with mattress (or double airbed in some of the tents) Single beds – All supplied with bedding provided for numbers booked.
1 charged led lamp, 30L Cool box, water carrier, fire lighters and long lighter (it is a good idea bring a spare lighter with you)
Green Trug washing up dishes, Blue Trug for hand washing (please do not use these for logs)
1 kettle, 1 frying pan, 1 saucepan,
Crockery or melamine (plates, bowls, mugs, plastic glasses)
Cutlery, 1 sharp knife, chopping board, cooking utensils,
washing up liquid, disinfectant spray, hand soap, 1 tea towel, 1 microfibre cloth
A handbook with these instructions, leaflets about the local area,
1st Aid kit, fire blanket (both huts have an extinguisher, smoke alarm and carbon monoxide alarm)
Shared facilities– All bookings:
1 Drinking water tap and Butler sink – at the top of the site
Composting Toilets
The 2 dry composting toilets are in the lean-to of the shed near the water tap (toilet roll is supplied) These are cleaned and emptied regularly, there is a bin inside for sanitary
Shower – is to the rear of toilets
There is a camp gas-powered shower, please follow the separate instructions in the shower itself, children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
All customers need to bring:
Towels, toiletries, food and drink, and personal belongings. Warm clothes for the evenings, extra blankets if you feel the cold and additional torches for night toilet trips.
It can be very hot in the daytime in summer as the land slopes south, so please bring sunscreen and protection for little ones and insect repellent. ‘
