About our Eco Glamping Site

Our eco-glamping area is set within seven acres, divided into pasture for our small flock of Jacob sheep, a young orchard of mixed fruit and an area currently being planted up with mixed native trees to blend the grassland into woodland as it meets ‘The Blean’.   There are a few beehives at the bottom near the woodland, which enjoy a wide range of natural habitats surrounding the land.

The land was bought in 2006, as one large bare field, which had grazed horses for several years.  Prior to that, it had been a Bramley apple orchard for many years.  During this time we have planted over 500metres of native hedging, which now bursts with blossom in the spring and provides beautiful habitat for local wildlife.  The aim over the next few years is to turn some of the grassy areas into flower meadows for our bees and start an area of permaculture-style growing.

We have several fully equipped 5-metre bell tents and two fantastic shepherd’s style huts in a natural and beautiful setting, please take look around the website to see how it looks now.
